HL Robotics announced on the 20th that it has signed an MOU with HDC Labs for the joint development and commercialization verification of next-generation intelligent patrol robots.
The agreement aims to combine HDC Labs’ AI video analysis and data processing technology with HL Robotics’ robotic hardware and autonomous driving capabilities to deliver a differentiated security and safety solution. The two companies plan to develop next-generation intelligent security robots capable of recognizing, assessing, and responding in real time to various risks that may occur on-site, beyond simple repetitive patrols.
HL Robotics will lead the design and manufacturing of the robot platform, with a focus on securing precise autonomous driving and control technologies. Through field demonstrations, the company also plans to establish a stable mass production system and lay the groundwork for commercialization.
Through this collaboration, the companies aim to introduce next-generation security technologies that will lead the smart city era, including: △Implementation of intelligent, situation-aware security robots, △ Transformation of urban safety management paradigms, △ Establishment of smart-living security models, △ Security management automation through data-driven digital transformation (DX)
In the first half of next year, the two companies plan to conduct a PoC pilot service in apartment complexes to verify technical completeness and develop a commercialization model. They then plan to gradually expand the application scope beyond residential complexes to commercial and industrial sites.
