“Significant Growth Potential in North America and Europe”

Stanley Robotics’ Outdoor Autonomous Parking Robot ‘Stan’
On the 10th, iM Investment & Securities assessed that HL Holdings is accelerating its growth by expanding its revenue sources in both indoor and outdoor autonomous parking robot markets.
Research analyst Sangheon Lee noted, “HL Robotics has secured a full lineup of both indoor and outdoor autonomous parking robot products through acquisitions and business transfers.”
In October of last year, HL Robotics—a wholly owned subsidiary of HL Holdings—signed a deal to acquire a 74.1% stake in Stanley Robotics, the world’s first company to commercialize outdoor autonomous parking robots, for approximately KRW 32.2 billion.
Founded in France in 2015, Stanley Robotics specializes in outdoor robotic parking and digital robot fleet management systems. Its flagship model ‘Stan’—an autonomous parking robot that operates without spatial constraints—was successfully commercialized at Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport in 2018.
Lee added, “HL Mando, another HL Holdings subsidiary, unveiled its indoor autonomous parking robot ‘Parkie’ at the end of 2023. The MSTG division responsible for developing Parkie was transferred to HL Robotics through a business acquisition on January 2 this year.”
“With this, HL Robotics has not only established a comprehensive product portfolio of indoor and outdoor autonomous parking robots, but has also been able to integrate advanced control and fleet management systems into its autonomous driving technologies,” he explained.

He forecasted that demand from local governments in Korea will increase, with HL Robotics planning to deliver a unit of Parkie to a municipal client in the second half of this year.
“Based on this initial delivery, HL Robotics is expected to diversify its customer base to include hotels, department stores, and mobility solution providers—aiming to deliver 15 units in 2025 and expand to 208 units by 2027.”
He also noted that HL Robotics plans to commercialize its patrol robot ‘Goalie’ starting next year, with anticipated sales of more than five units.
Currently, Stanley Robotics operates its Stan robot at Lyon Airport in France, Gatwick Airport in the UK, as well as logistics centers in Germany and Canada.
In September last year, the company signed a parking robot subscription service contract with Canadian National Railway (CN), one of North America’s top three rail logistics companies, which operates 18 automotive logistics hubs across Canada and the U.S.
Regarding this, Lee concluded, “Stan’s deployment across additional automotive logistics centers in the northeastern and southeastern U.S. will further expand HL Robotics’ presence in North America, while continued deployments at high-traffic airports across North America and Europe will significantly accelerate the company’s long-term growth trajectory.”
